(57) Abstract of the invention (utility model)

Invention relates to medicine, in particular, to ophthalmic surgery, especially to sutures used in surgical treatment of pathological changes to optical zone of cornea. Substance of invention consists in the fact that a cross-like suture with transverse internal and external tissue areas is arranged so that every needle pass would describe a side of an equal-sided polyhedron, inscribed into circumference with diameter of 7-11 mm, concentric to the central axis of cornea so that after each pass a thread would lay on surface of optical zone of cornea, in the end creating encircling in the form of a bow with central symmetry, besides, when necessary and (or) adequate, two mutually perpendicular or three double-wing sutures are arranged with angle of 60° to each other or one commensurate three-wing suture. Increased stability of fixation of optical zone of cornea, excluding damage of this zone with surgical needle, 10 dwg.
