Chapter 19: Crimes against constitutional human rights and freedoms of citizens
Article 158. Infringement of Copyright and Related Rights
1. Illegal use of a subject matter of copyright or related rights or misappropriation of authorship, given that this action has caused great damage,
shall entail a fine at the rate of from two-hundred to four-hundred times minimum salary, or reformatory for a maximum term of one year or imprisonment for a maximum term of two years.
2. Great damage in this Article shall be deemed the amount exceeding two-hundred times the minimum salary.
Article 159. Infringement of Patent Rights
Illegal use of subject matter patent right, or dissemination of information concerning its nature prior to official recognition of that right without the applicants consent, misappropriation of authorship or compulsion to co-authorship
shall entail a fine at the rate of from two-hundred to four-hundred times minimum salary or imprisonment for a maximum term of two years.
Article 197. Illegal use of Trademark
Illegal use of trademark, service mark, trade name or appellation of origin given that this action has caused great damage,
shall entail a fine at the rate of from three-hundred to five-hundred times minimum salary or reformatory for a maximum term of two years or imprisonment for a maximum term of two months.
